Meet
Dr. Mallori Sheik
I’m a clinically trained therapist, guide, and educator with a Doctorate and Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the College of St. Scholastica. My doctoral research explored the factors that support autistic individuals in transitioning to adulthood, particularly in the realms of employment and independent living.
My work is devoted to supporting women in transition (divorce, career change, shifts in friendships, creating boundaries with toxic family members, moving, adjusting to children leaving home, etc.). I also specialize in working with mothers and women who identify as neurodivergent or who are exploring a late autism diagnosis.
In 2024, I completed an apprenticeship in depth psychology, which further deepened my relationship with the imaginal and unconscious realms. I also serve as an adjunct professor of social work at the University of Cincinnati, where I mentor and support future clinicians. In addition to psychotherapy, I offer therapeutic breathwork, a somatic and integrative practice that invites the body and unconscious into the healing process.
Beyond my work, I’m married and a proud mom of three children (ages 17, 14, and 9), one spunky corgi, two cats, and a flock of beloved chickens. I find joy in being on the water, exploring the outdoors, thrift shopping, traveling, reading good books, listening to podcasts, and gathering with friends and family.
